Gossip doesn’t need to be true — it only needs to be repeated often enough for people to believe it. And it worked — for a while. Those lies isolated me, cut me off from support, and caused people everywhere to reject me without cause. All the while, I knew exactly who you were and what you represented, even from the first time I saw you. I just didn’t know you were the ones moving in the shadows. But now the fight has been dragged out of the shadows into the light, and people are finally waking up to the truth.
