The Absurdity of Doing Evil to Produce Good Post #2 –The Poisoned Seed Cannot Produce Holy Fruit
Every harvest begins with a seed — and the nature of that seed determines the nature of what it produces. Yahshua taught, “A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit” (Matthew 7:18). This is not just a metaphor; it is a spiritual law woven into the fabric of creation.
We deceive ourselves when we think we can sow injustice and reap justice, or build a righteous kingdom on corrupt foundations. Poison planted in the soil will not transform into nourishment simply because our intentions were noble. Sin cannot become righteousness by the time it reaches harvest — it only multiplies after its own kind.
This is why Scripture warns us: “Be not deceived; Elohim is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7). If the root is poisoned by greed, pride, or rebellion, the fruit — no matter how polished it looks on the surface — will carry the same corruption. If we want the fruit of righteousness, we must plant the seed of obedience.
If we desire justice, we must root ourselves in truth. Anything else is self-deception, and the harvest will expose it.
