Stop Being Mad, It’s Me — Not You
Let me say something plainly, without edge, without argument, and without defensiveness.
This isn’t about being better than anyone.
This isn’t about competition.
This isn’t about proving something to critics.
This is about assignment.
Everyone has a lane. Everyone has a measure. Everyone has a calling placed on their life by Yahuah. Mine just happens to look like music, teaching, and testimony at a pace that surprises people — sometimes even me.
So when you see what’s coming out of J.A.L.M.-MUSIC and it feels overwhelming, unbelievable, or even uncomfortable, I want you to hear this:
It’s not a judgment on you.
It’s not a standard you’re being asked to match.
It’s not a comparison you’re being invited into.
It’s simply what I was assigned to carry.
Some are called to build deep in one place.
Some are called to move wide across many.
Some are called to shepherd quietly.
Some are called to broadcast loudly.
None of those callings cancel the other.
What looks like acceleration in one life might look like patience in another. What looks like multiplication in one season might look like refinement in another. Both are obedience. Both are purpose.
So if you feel tension when you see my work, I want to gently suggest this:
Maybe it’s not about what I’m doing.
Maybe it’s about what you’re being called to do.
And that’s not a rebuke. That’s an invitation.
Because the goal isn’t for everyone to become me.
The goal is for everyone to become who Yahuah created them to be.
I’m not running ahead of you.
I’m not standing over you.
I’m just walking in the lane that was given to me.
And I genuinely hope you find — and walk boldly in — yours too.
J.A.L.M.-MUSIC
Assignment over applause.
Calling over comparison.
Obedience over opinion.
“Each one should test their own work, then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else.” — Galatians 6:4
