⚖️ Public Legal Notice – Part IV To: NOVOGRODER CO FD 6542 (Property owner of Family Dollar at 2346 E. 79th St. #50, Chicago, IL 60649) Owner/Operator of Family Dollar at 2346 E. 79th St. #50, Chicago, IL 60649 Byron Gray, Gray Manor Kingston LLC Peter & Jacqueline Taylor Holsten, Holsten NFP LLC Chicago Police Department Date: November 8, 2025
Subject: Use of Proxies for Harassment and Continued Loss-Prevention Entrapment Tactics
This notice serves as a public record of multiple incidents that occurred on November 8, 2025, at approximately 12:04 p.m. and again at 1:01 p.m., at the Family Dollar located at 2346 E. 79th St. #50, Chicago, IL 60649.
1️⃣ First Visit – 12:04 p.m. During this visit, I observed what appeared to be a coordinated effort to use customers as proxies to harass me while employees attempted to provoke a confrontation. A person stationed at the street corner appeared to communicate through a community-watch style conference call that I was wearing a body camera, signaling to employees inside. The cashier identified as Nyia attempted to engage me regarding my body camera, and later about items on the conveyor belt that was allegedly “broken.” This exact tactic has been repeated by several cashiers over prior visits, apparently as a means of deliberate provocation.
2️⃣ Second Visit – 1:01 p.m. After realizing I had forgotten an item, I returned to the store. While waiting in line, another individual—appearing to act as a community-watch participant—loudly commented on my camera, again attempting to provoke interaction. This behavior follows a pattern of defamatory rumors allegedly originating from Byron Gray of Gray Manor Kingston LLC and from Peter and Jacqueline Taylor Holsten, which have circulated through the surrounding neighborhood and to local businesses. These false narratives include accusations that I am “on drugs,” “a thief,” “lazy,” or “abusive toward women.” All such claims are categorically false. I maintain respect for all individuals who respect themselves and others.
3️⃣ Pattern of Proxy Harassment and Entrapment Based on repeated observation, I believe that Family Dollar employees and outside associates are coordinating through community-policing or private-watch channels to alert participants whenever I leave my residence or approach the store. Individuals have been seen carrying communication devices or earpieces, following, or positioning themselves strategically near entrances, parking lots, and checkout lines. This has created an environment of intimidation, with repeated attempts to prolong my time in the store by claiming mechanical failures, blocking exits, or staging behaviors intended to trigger confrontation. Such tactics appear designed to manufacture false evidence or entrapment scenarios.
4️⃣ Other Related Incidents On November 3, 2025, two women positioned near the register and exit, along with a man in the parking lot, appeared to be participating in a loss-prevention setup aimed at portraying me as a potential shoplifter. These behaviors continue despite my record of lawful conduct and lack of any criminal history.
5️⃣ Statement of Record and Intent I continue to shop peacefully and lawfully and expect to do so without harassment or provocation. I do not consent to being recorded, monitored, or followed by employees, contractors, or customers acting under direction. All defamatory statements, coordinated intimidation, or misuse of surveillance will be documented and pursued through lawful means. This notice is placed in the public domain as an official record of harassment and misuse of community-policing resources against a private citizen.
This is not a threat, but a formal legal documentation of ongoing unlawful and unethical activity, made publicly available to preserve transparency and evidence. Further escalation or continuation of these tactics will be met with appropriate legal response.
